i went 3 weeks without the ability to use my phone. everything worked fine except the microphone. i had to text and email alot to get anything done.. it was frustrating but it became normal after 3 weeks.

i have made the decision to not text while driving. i have seen too many wrecks and too many people have killed someone while texting. i never wanna be in that position. so here is the story.

i was in town for a meeting. auny was also in a meeting on the other side of town. the plan was to meet up and try to grab dinner. i was sitting in my truck in a parking lot and she was driving in traffic trying to communicate. the only way i could do it was to text her a question and let her call me and tell me the answer. then i would listen to her and answer her by way of texting. does that make sense? i could text but she couldnt becasue she was driving. she could phone talk but i could only hear and not respond. funny huh?

it was a communication breakdown but we found a way around it.

and we were safe

thursday night the phone lines fell down and blocked our driveway. we were not able to get out of the driveway unless we went muddin in the four wheel drive. i did what any decent human being would do and called the phone company. the electric company and cable company had already come and checked things out and we were all waiting on the phone company to come and repair the downed lines. the phone company (att) never called us back to get the work going. today i called again and talked to the nice lady at att(that is at&t, sorry if i confused you). the nice lady said they were sending a crew to work on it. well its almost midnight and they never showed up. meanwhile it is difficult to get into our driveway. in a few hours we will have 20-30 people coming here for a party. if they cant get into the driveway i may have to get some clippers and take care of that phone line myself. im not sure what to do but i really need to be able to get into my driveway without off-roading thru the neighbors property. arrghh. im about to get angry. what should i do?

at&t if you are reading this there is 2 things you could do. 1. answer your phone with a live person so i can get this emergency handled. talking to the automated service is pointless because they dont have an option for “i cant get into my driveway because your lines are crossing it”. 2. just send someone to my house and have them put up some new phone lines.

if anyone knows someone at at&t feel free to pull some strings and take care of this. i will give you a cookie!!
